With a movement, a gesture as a starting point, German designer Simon Schmitz managed to create a light that is in constant fluid motion. The Aaro wall light uses a sphere as a joint, allowing the light to revolve around its centrepiece, like planets orbiting around one another in the sky. Constructed from anodised steel with a matt black finish, its long, imposing arm can be adjusted to direct the light wherever you need it.
